Setting up a smart home doesn’t have to be expensive or complicated. In fact, you can turn many of your existing appliances or home decor items, like lamps, into smart products by adding a simple smart plug. And if you’ve been waiting for the right time to dip your toes into smart home tech, Woot’s Memorial Day Deal on Amazon’s excellent smart plugs is as good a time as any. Right now, you can pick up this 4-pack of Amazon Basics smart plugs for just $11, down from the usual $26. That’s less than half its usual price. It’s an unbeatable price for a set of smart plugs that are built to work seamlessly with Alexa and require zero extra effort to get started.
Designed with simplicity in mind, these smart plugs are a breeze to set up. No hubs or third-party apps needed, just download the Alexa app and get started. Once connected, you can control any plugged-in device through the Alexa app or with voice commands. Whether you’re away on vacation or just don’t feel like getting off the couch, you can turn lights, fans, coffee makers or heaters on and off from anywhere. Its that simple.
The compact design ensures the plug only takes up one outlet, so you still have room for other devices. Even better, you can create custom routines like turning on a lamp at sunset or shutting off the fan when it’s bedtime. These plugs work exclusively with Alexa and a 2.4GHz Wi-Fi connection, making them a perfect fit for homes that already use Echo devices. At just $11 for a 4-pack, this is one of the easiest and most affordable ways to make your home smarter.
